They have cherished this family recipe for years…and now we get to bring it to you! This recipe, handed down from generations, is the perfect treat with just the right amount of sweetness!

Meet the Petersma family: The Petersma Family is one of faith, family, and dreams. Jeremy and Candi married in 2004 and have lived in various locations around Austin, TX. Jeremy, a Battalion Chief at Lake Travis Fire Rescue, started his fire career in 2000, while Candi taught for 17 years in the Austin area.

Their family wouldn’t be complete without their kids - MacKenzie and Brock. As the kids grew older, the couple yearned for land and a smaller school, with small-town values and the ability to try everything. This leap of faith brought a much-needed move from Austin to the Texas Hill Country.

Jeremy commutes to/from work, while Candi stays closer to home working as a fertility outreach coordinator. With two kids in sports, church, and extracurricular activities, “busy” is an understatement! They manage to squeeze in family dinners around the table or in the car to/from events. The smaller town has helped to seal their love for each other and the outdoors. Which brings us to their next venture...COCOA! Nothing is better than watching the world go by and drinking a cup of the secret family recipe. The process of making it has even become a family tradition.
